What it is
Worm drive hose clamps with a 60-80mm clamping range, supplied as a pack of 10. The worm drive screw mechanism tightens the band around a hose to hold it onto a spigot or pipe connection. They are used on flexible hose runs in heating and plumbing systems.

- The worm screw turns freely but the band does not tighten or grip the hose.
- Visible corrosion or rust on the band or screw housing.
- Weeping or dripping at the hose joint even with the clamp tightened.
- The band is distorted, kinked or no longer sits flat around the hose.
- The hose beneath the clamp has hardened, cracked or split and no longer seals.

- Check the condition of the hose itself, as a perished hose will not seal even with a new clamp.
