What it is
Worm drive hose clamps manufactured under the SPECIAL OFFERS brand. They are used to secure large bore hoses onto spigots, stubs and pipe connections by tightening a slotted band with a worm screw mechanism. Each clamp in this pack covers a 120-140mm clamping range.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The band is corroded, pitted or visibly thinning
- The worm screw slips, strips or will not hold torque
- The clamp will not tighten down onto the hose, leaving a weep or drip at the joint
