What it is
The EOGB Rotary Actuator 30NM is a motorised actuator that drives the air damper or fuel valve linkage on EOGB, Honeywell and Satronic boiler control assemblies. It converts a control signal into rotary movement at a rated torque of 30 NM. The actuator operates on a 2–3 minute cycle time.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The damper or valve linkage does not move through its full travel when the boiler is called to fire.
- The actuator stalls, hums or runs continuously without reaching its end position.
- Burner start-up is erratic, with lockout or unstable combustion linked to incorrect air or fuel positioning.
- The motor housing is visibly overheated, damaged or showing signs of moisture ingress.
- The actuator fails to return to its start position on shutdown.
Before you order
- Confirm the existing actuator carries the same 30 NM torque rating and 2–3 minute cycle time.
- Check the part number on the existing unit against H01-VMM30.
- Verify the mounting flange, shaft and drive coupling match the boiler control assembly.
- Check the control voltage and wiring arrangement at the existing actuator before removal.
