What it is
The Altecnic 3/4 USLC Hot Water Meter 1 litre/Pulse is a hot water meter from the Altecnic USLC range of water meters. It measures hot water passing through the installation and provides a pulse output of 1 litre per pulse for transmission to a controller, BMS or consumption monitoring device. It is intended for metering duty on hot water services rather than for direct control of a boiler.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Metered readings no longer reflect actual hot water consumption
- No pulse signal is received at the controller or monitoring device despite flow through the meter
- The register or display is blank, fogged or unreadable
- Water leaks from the meter body or its connections
- Flow continues through the meter with no registration on the counter

- Check the receiving controller, BMS or logger accepts a 1 litre per pulse input
- Confirm the meter position is on a hot water service and not a cold water supply
