What it is

The Altecnic IARF is a dry dial multi jet water meter used to measure water throughput on domestic and light commercial supplies. The multi jet measuring principle passes water through several jets onto the impeller, while the dry dial design keeps the register sealed away from the water path so the display stays clear. It is supplied under part number GG-IARF25.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • The register no longer advances, or advances erratically, while water is clearly flowing
  • The dial face is misted, fogged or holds condensation, making the reading unreadable
  • Water is weeping from the meter body or its connections and cannot be stopped by remaking the joints
  • The reading is visibly inconsistent with known consumption over a period
  • The impeller is sluggish, noisy or jammed when flow is present

Before you order

  • Confirm the pipework size and connection type at the meter position match the unit being replaced
  • Check that the register orientation and reading position suit the installation
  • Verify the part number GG-IARF25 against the existing meter before ordering
  • Confirm any billing or metering requirements with the relevant water supplier before changeover
