What it is
The Grant Immersion Stat Only (part number GCS31) is an immersion thermostat for Grant hot water cylinders. It regulates the immersion heater to control the stored water temperature in the DuoWave HP and MonoWave HP cylinder ranges. The stat is supplied on its own.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Stored water sits below or above the temperature set on the dial
- The immersion heater runs on and does not switch off at temperature
- Turning the thermostat dial makes no difference to the water temperature
- Hot water temperature is erratic from one draw to the next
