What it is
The Coster GCR 425 is a normally closed (NC) gas valve with a manual reset function, rated for 24V operation and fitted with a 25mm connection. It forms part of the gas control assembly in gas-fired heating appliances. The manual reset requires the valve to be deliberately re-opened by hand after it has closed, rather than restarting automatically.
Before you order
- Confirm the appliance or assembly requires a 24V normally closed valve with manual reset.
- Check that the 25mm connection matches the existing valve body or pipework.
- Cross-check the part number GCR 425 against the valve being replaced or the appliance documentation.
