What it is
The Andrews G192 is an inner sump O-ring with a 113 mm diameter, used on Andrews water heaters. It seals the sump joint to prevent water escaping from the sump assembly. It is a service part for the Andrews hot water range.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Water weeping or dripping from the sump joint
- Visible cracking, flattening or perishing of the O-ring
- The O-ring has hardened and no longer seals under compression
- Scale or corrosion deposits around the sump seating
- Repeated loss of pressure or water at the sump after reassembly
