What it is
The Andrews G167 is a 1 inch male and female gas cock used on Andrews water heaters. It provides manual isolation of the gas supply to the appliance, allowing an engineer to shut off the gas at the appliance for servicing or fault finding. The valve has a male connection on one end and a female connection on the other.

- The valve passes gas when in the closed position, so the appliance cannot be isolated
