What it is
The EOGB G04-0005 is a glycerine-filled pressure gauge with a 0-400 psi scale and a 1/8" bottom entry connection. It is used on EOGB pressure equipment to give a direct visual reading of system pressure. The glycerine fill damps needle movement so the reading stays steady where vibration or pulsing would otherwise make a dry gauge difficult to read.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The needle fluctuates or vibrates instead of holding a steady reading
- The needle fails to return to zero with the system depressurised
- The glycerine fill has leaked out, turned cloudy, or the case shows fluid loss
- The lens is cracked, misted, or the dial markings are no longer legible
- Readings no longer agree with the appliance's expected operating pressure
Before you order
- Confirm the connection thread and entry position match the port on your appliance
- Check the required pressure range against the appliance's operating pressure
- Verify your model against the manufacturer's parts list before ordering
