What it is
This is a pilot washer supplied by Morco Products in a pack of 10, part number FW0545. It is a small sealing washer used in the pilot assembly of Morco gas water heaters. The washer forms part of the pilot gas circuit, where a sound seal is needed for correct operation.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The pilot flame will not stay lit or keeps going out
- A visible leak or weep at the pilot assembly joint
- The existing washer is hardened, flattened, cracked or missing
- Soot or discolouration around the pilot area suggesting an incomplete seal
Before you order
- Confirm the appliance model on the data badge matches one of the listed fits
- Check that the existing washer is removed and the seating is clean before fitting a new one
- Confirm the pack quantity of 10 is the right amount for the job in hand
