What it is
The THERMOCOUPLE C/W SENSOR is a Morco Products thermocouple assembly for use in the Morco G11-E appliance. It generates the small voltage used to hold the gas valve open while a pilot flame is established, and incorporates a sensor element as part of the assembly. The part is identified by the manufacturer reference FW0302.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The pilot flame lights but will not stay alight once the control knob is released
- The appliance locks out repeatedly after ignition
- The pilot flame goes out during normal operation without an obvious draught or gas supply fault
- Ignition is erratic and the pilot fails to hold on each attempt
