What it is
The Ferroli Gas Valve (VK4105G) is a gas valve assembly used on Ferroli domestic gas boilers, supplied under Ferroli part number 39808000. It regulates the passage of gas to the burner under the control of the appliance's control board, opening and closing the gas path as the boiler fires. It is fitted across the Domina, Modena, Falcon and Tempra ranges.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The boiler fails to light, or lights and then cuts out shortly afterwards
- No gas reaches the burner when there is a call for heat
- Intermittent ignition, repeated lockouts or a boiler that will not stay lit
- Whistling, buzzing or persistent clicking from the valve area during firing
- An unstable or sooty flame at the burner
