What it is
The Firebird Fan (26 to 35kW) Only is a combustion fan for Firebird oil-fired boilers running the FB 2 K low NOx kerosene burner. It moves combustion air through the burner, and is supplied as the fan only. It covers burner outputs from 26kW to 35kW.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The burner locks out or fails to ignite
- The fan is noisy in use, with rumbling, grinding or bearing whine
- The fan does not turn when the burner calls for heat
- Intermittent running or overheating at the burner
Before you order
- Confirm the burner is an FB 2 K 26 LN or FB 2 K 35 LN low NOx kerosene burner
- Check whether the fan only is required, rather than a complete burner assembly
- Match the appliance output against the 26kW to 35kW range
- Have the burner model details to hand when comparing
