What it is
The EOGB Flexible 890mm Biogreen Mectron hose is a flexible oil line supplied with an angled 14M connection and a straight 14F connection, as designated in the product code. It is intended for use on EOGB Bio Oil boilers, carrying fuel between the supply and the burner assembly where a fixed pipe run is impractical.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Visible oil weeping or staining at the crimped hose ends
- Hose outer covering cracked, hardened or swollen
- Kinks or flattening along the hose length restricting fuel flow
- Persistent fuel odour around the hose run or unions
Before you order
- Confirm the Ang 14M and Str 14F connection designations match the appliance and existing oil line
- Check that the 890mm length suits the intended routing without tight bends
- Verify compatibility with the fuel in use, including bio oil blends
- Inspect the mating unions and washers for condition before fitting
