What it is

The ESI Controls 22mm 3 port motorised mid-position valve is a motorised valve used in domestic central heating systems to direct heated water between the hot water cylinder and the radiator circuit. Its mid-position capability allows heating and hot water to be supplied at the same time. It is a 22mm three-port valve from ESI Controls.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • Heating runs when only hot water is selected, or hot water runs when only heating is selected
