What it is
The Ariston 3000W element with 450 mm anode is a combined immersion heating element and anode assembly for Ariston Aquabravo ITD and ITI unvented hot water cylinders. The 3000W element heats the stored water, while the anode protects the cylinder's internal surface from corrosion. Both components are supplied together as one part.
Signs this part needs replacing
- No hot water, or water that no longer reaches the set temperature
- The element trips the RCD or circuit breaker when the cylinder is powered
- A resistance or continuity test on the element gives an open or out-of-range reading
- Heavy scale or corrosion visible on the element when removed
- The anode is significantly consumed, or the element seal is weeping
