What it is
The HRM EL224 auxiliary stat is a thermostat component for HRM gas boilers. It sits within the boiler's temperature control circuit, switching in response to sensed temperature changes. It is supplied under HRM part number EL224.
Before you order
- Confirm EL224 matches the part number on the auxiliary stat being replaced.
- Check the failed stat against the new component for physical and connection compatibility before fitting.
- Verify that the existing auxiliary stat is the fault, rather than the main control stat or the wiring to it.
- Have the boiler model and any installer notes to hand when ordering.
