What it is
The Pitacs EC350406 is a 100 metre reel of 2 core red softskin fire cable with 1.5mm conductors. It is intended for fixed wiring in fire alarm and life safety circuits, where the cable must continue to function during a fire. The red sheath identifies it as a fire performance cable.
Before you order
- Confirm 1.5mm conductors suit the circuit design and voltage drop calculation for the run.
- Check whether a 2 core cable is correct for the installation or whether a cable with an earth conductor is required.
- Allow for slack and routing when checking that a 100 metre reel covers the full run.
- Verify that softskin fire cable is the cable type specified for the installation.
