What it is
The Valor EB06018 is a drain valve used on Ascari boiler applications. It forms part of the isolation valve group within the appliance, allowing the water circuit to be drained down for servicing or component replacement. It is supplied as a Valor Group spare part.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Water weeping or dripping from the valve body or outlet with the valve closed
- The spindle is stiff, seized or rounded off, so the valve cannot be operated cleanly
- The valve will not shut off fully, leaving a continuous trickle when the circuit should be isolated
- Scale, corrosion or debris visible around the valve seat or outlet
- The valve fails to drain the circuit properly when opened
Before you order
- Confirm the appliance model against the manufacturer's parts list before ordering
- Check the existing valve for the EB06018 part number marking
- Inspect the surrounding pipework and connections for condition before fitting
- Verify the valve is the Ascari variant specified for your appliance
