What it is
The Andrews E904 is an LPG gas valve supplied with a gasket, intended for Andrews Ecoflo water heaters. It controls the supply of gas to the burner in response to demand from the appliance controls. This valve is specific to LPG installations.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The burner fails to ignite and the appliance produces no hot water.
- Intermittent flame failure or repeated lockout.
- The valve does not respond to demand from the appliance controls.
- Visible damage, corrosion or gas leakage around the valve body.
- An unstable or sooty flame at the burner.
