The Andrews E895 is a gas valve assembly for Andrews Ecoflo water heaters. It controls the flow of gas to the burner, opening and closing in response to demand from the appliance's control system. This part is listed for EC and LEC series models across the 700, 740, 960 and 980 ranges.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The burner fails to ignite, or the appliance locks out on an ignition fault.
- The flame lights but goes out shortly afterwards.
- No hot water is produced despite the appliance calling for heat.
- The valve body shows signs of corrosion, debris or physical damage.
- Gas smell around the valve area — isolate the supply and call a Gas Safe registered engineer immediately.
