What it is
A flexible oil pipe manufactured by Nuway, supplied as part number E05004V. It carries oil to the burner on the Nuway Ch5 oil burner, with a 914 mm (36 inch) length and 3/4 inch BSP connections. The flexible construction allows the pipe to be routed between the oil line and the burner without the rigid bends a solid pipe would need.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Oil weeping or visible staining at the crimped ends or connection nuts
- Kinks, flattening or tight bends that restrict oil flow to the burner
- Outer sheath hardened, cracked or brittle with age
- Corrosion or damage at the end fittings
- Persistent oil odour along the pipe run
Before you order
- Confirm the bore and thread size match the oil line and burner inlet — this pipe is 3/4 inch bore with 3/4 inch BSP connections
- Check that the 914 mm length suits the run without forcing tight bends
- Confirm the appliance model, as this pipe is listed for the Nuway Ch5 oil burner
- Inspect the existing unions and washers, as these may need attention at the same time
