What it is
The Krom gas valve CG225R01ZTZWF1 (84745215) is a gas control valve listed under the Oil Spares range. It is the valve that regulates gas supply on a boiler, sitting in the gas train between the supply and the burner. The model reference and part number are the identifying details to match against the valve already fitted.
Before you order
- Read the model reference and part number off the valve being replaced and match both against CG225R01ZTZWF1 and 84745215.
- Confirm the valve suits the boiler it is being fitted to; a gas valve is appliance-specific in practice even where a catalogue lists a general classification.
- Check the gas train layout on the appliance so the replacement valve can be fitted in the same position and orientation.
- Gas work must be carried out by a competent, registered engineer and the appliance commissioned and checked for soundness afterwards.
