What it is
The Nuway E01115L is a solenoid valve supplied for Nu-Way oil-fired boiler applications. It is an ASCO EGSCE262C90 type valve with a 1/4 inch connection and a 230V coil. The valve controls the flow of oil through the burner circuit in response to an electrical signal from the boiler controls.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The burner fails to fire or locks out because oil is not being admitted to the nozzle line.
- Oil continues to pass through the valve when the burner is off, causing delayed ignition or a smell of oil.
- The coil is open circuit, burnt or visibly overheated, so the valve no longer operates.
