What it is

The EOGB Danfoss 057H7109 is an LDS photocell used on EOGB Danfoss boiler appliances. It monitors the flame within the combustion chamber and provides the flame signal to the burner control, allowing the boiler to prove ignition and shut down safely if the flame is lost. This is the high-sensitivity variant, supplied with a 600mm hose.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • Burner locks out shortly after ignition despite a visible flame
  • Repeated lockouts that clear on reset but return on the next cycle
  • Flame signal is weak or intermittent when measured at the control
  • Boiler fails to prove flame and shuts down during the lighting sequence
  • Photocell window is discoloured, sooted or clouded and cleaning does not restore reliable operation
