What it is
The Heatline valve set is a service component for the Heatline IG 24 water heater. It controls water flow through the heater, and is supplied as a set rather than as individual valves. This valve set replaces part code 3004090205.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Water weeping or pooling around the valve body or its connections
- The heater failing to deliver hot water despite the appliance running
- Restricted or inconsistent water flow through the unit
- Water continuing to pass through the valve when the appliance is off
Before you order
- Confirm the appliance is a Heatline IG 24 water heater
- Check the part code on the existing valve set against 3004090205
- Verify the fault has been traced to the valve set rather than another component
- Isolate the water and power supplies before removing the old valve set
