What it is

The Heatline flow sensor kit is a service assembly for the domestic hot water circuit of Heatline gas boilers. It combines the flow sensor, impellor, filter and restrictor into a single kit, allowing the DHW flow sensing and inlet filtration components to be renewed together. The assembly signals the boiler when hot water is drawn, so the appliance can fire and modulate on DHW demand.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • No hot water or intermittent hot water despite a DHW demand at the tap
  • Boiler fails to fire or drops out when a hot tap is opened
  • Fault code or lockout relating to the DHW flow sensor
  • Debris or scale visible in the inlet filter, restricting flow
  • Erratic DHW temperature as the sensor signal becomes unreliable
