What it is

The Heatline fan is a combustion air fan used on Heatline Compact, S and IG series gas appliances. It draws air through the combustion circuit and discharges flue products, maintaining correct airflow across the burner. The assembly is supplied as a complete fan unit for service replacement.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • Boiler locks out or fails to ignite, with a fan or airflow related fault code stored
  • Fan noisy in operation — rumbling, scraping or bearing whine from the fan housing
  • Fan does not spin up on a call for heat, or spins intermittently
  • Repeated overheat or flue thermostat trips during normal running
  • Visible damage, contamination or stiffness when the fan is rotated by hand
