What it is

The Heatline flow sensor housing left return group is a hydraulic component fitted to the left-hand return side of the boiler's water circuit. It houses the flow sensor that signals water movement to the boiler's control board, allowing the appliance to regulate firing and domestic hot water delivery. It is supplied by Heatline for use across a number of their combi and system boiler ranges.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • The boiler fails to fire or locks out on a flow-related fault
  • No heating or hot water despite a call for heat
  • Intermittent domestic hot water or fluctuating outlet temperature
  • Water weeping or dripping from the housing or its seals
  • Scale or debris build-up restricting flow through the housing
