What it is
The EPH CP4 is a programmable wireless RF room thermostat from EPH Controls, designed for controlling a boiler-based heating system. It communicates using OpenTherm rather than a simple switched live, allowing the boiler to be controlled in a modulating manner. Room temperature is measured at the thermostat and the signal is sent wirelessly over RF.
Before you order
- Confirm the boiler is OpenTherm compatible, as this is the control interface the thermostat uses.
- Check the CP4 part number matches the unit being replaced or specified for the installation.
- Confirm that a wireless RF thermostat is suitable for the property's existing heating controls and wiring.
