What it is
The Charnwood 010/BW31 is a throatplate, the component that sits above the firebox and shields the upper internal structure of the stove from flame and flue gases. It is listed by the manufacturer for the CW50B appliance. The throatplate forms part of the stove's internal firebox furniture and is a serviceable item on solid fuel appliances.
Before you order
- Confirm the appliance model is CW50B before ordering, as throatplates are model-specific.
- Check the existing throatplate in the stove and note the part number marked on it where visible.
- Verify the part number 010/BW31 against the appliance documentation or data plate.
- Allow for the stove to be fully cold and the flue isolated before removing or fitting internal firebox components.
