What it is
The Charnwood 008/BW43L is a left-hand ashpit door spring, supplied as a component within the Charnwood fire spares range. It provides the spring tension in the ashpit door assembly, holding the door in position on the appliance.
Before you order
- Confirm the part number 008/BW43L against the appliance's parts documentation.
- Check the handing required — this is the left-hand spring, so a right-hand counterpart may be needed for the opposite side of the door.
- Inspect the spring seating and door fixings before fitting a replacement.
