What it is
The Charnwood 004/CY22P is the primary air inlet flap for a Charnwood stove. The flap sits on the primary air inlet and regulates the volume of air drawn into the combustion area through that inlet. It is listed as a fire spare, so it is intended for stove servicing and repair rather than for gas or plumbing appliances.
Before you order
- Confirm the part number on your existing flap or in your stove documentation matches 004/CY22P.
- Check that the flap you are replacing is the primary air inlet flap, not the secondary or tertiary air control.
- Inspect the inlet housing and linkage at the same time, as these are handled during the same job.
