What it is
The Gazco CE0394 is a coal bed supplied by Gazco for use in its gas fire range. It forms the decorative fuel bed within the firebox, sitting over the burner area to give the appearance of a traditional solid fuel fire. The coal bed is a consumable item, listed under fire spares in the coals category.
Before you order
- Confirm the existing fuel bed carries the CE0394 marking before ordering, as coal beds are model-specific.
- Check the appliance documentation to confirm that CE0394 is the correct coal bed for the fire in question.
- Inspect the existing coals for cracking, crumbling, discolouration or missing pieces that would affect the flame picture.
- Allow for handling and fitting of the coals in line with the appliance instructions, as the layout of the bed affects combustion and appearance.
