What it is

The vessel provides expansion capacity within the manifold circuit, while the SCV isolates the connection for service and maintenance work. It is intended for use on Altecnic manifold assemblies.

- System pressure rising and falling beyond normal operating range
- Water discharging from the pressure relief valve during heat-up
- Visible corrosion, weeping or staining around the vessel connection
- The SCV failing to isolate the circuit, or passing when closed
- Stiff or seized valve spindle that cannot be turned by hand
