What it is
Altecnic CA-100150 Water Heater Accessory Pack 4 is a manifold assembly accessory pack for water heater installations. It combines a 1/2 inch pressure reducing valve set at 3.5 bar, a 2 litre vessel and a 15mm SCV. The pack is supplied by Altecnic for use with its manifold assemblies.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The PRV no longer holds its set 3.5 bar outlet pressure or passes when closed
- The vessel has lost its air charge, causing rapid pressure swings on the system
- The vessel is waterlogged, with water present on the air side
- The SCV fails to seat and allows reverse flow through the connection
