Altecnic Manifold 3/4 PRV At 3.5 Bar SRV Push Fit At 6 Bar

The Altecnic Manifold 3/4 PRV at 3.5 bar, SRV Push Fit at 6 bar is a manifold assembly supplied with a 3/4 pressure reducing valve pre-set at 3.5 bar and a push fit safety relief valve pre-set at 6 bar. It forms part of the Altecnic manifold assembly range and is used on boiler and unvented control valve installations. The PRV regulates incoming mains pressure to the manifold, while the SRV provides over-pressure protection at the stated setting.

• Water discharging continuously from the safety relief valve discharge pipe
• System pressure creeping above the relief valve setting during normal operation
• Downstream pressure drifting above or below the 3.5 bar setting on the PRV
• Visible scale, corrosion or weeping at the manifold body or valve connections
• Pressure gauge readings that fluctuate sharply with no change in draw-off

• Confirm the incoming supply pressure and the required downstream setting match the 3.5 bar PRV rating
• Check the 6 bar relief valve setting against the cylinder or system design pressure
