What it is
The Andrews C783 is a tundish for Andrews water heaters. It is a discharge fitting that provides a visible air break in the pipework, so water from a safety or relief device can be seen and drained away safely. It is listed as an Andrews water heater spare.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Water escaping from around the tundish instead of discharging cleanly
- Visible cracks, splits or deformation in the body
- Heavy scale or corrosion build-up restricting flow through the fitting
- Persistent dripping or overflow at the tundish
- Discolouration or debris indicating a blockage upstream
Before you order
- Confirm your appliance model against the fit list above
- Check the part number C783 against the manufacturer's parts list for your appliance
- Isolate and drain the system before removing the existing tundish
