What it is
The Andrews C553 is a standard sacrificial anode with a top fitting, manufactured for Andrews water heaters. It is fitted inside the cylinder to protect the tank from corrosion by corroding in preference to the cylinder wall. It is listed for the Andrews HI FLO 81/264 water heater.
