What it is

The Andrews C443AWH is a pilot assembly for Andrews water heaters, supplied for LPG appliances and designated 'F'. It provides the standing pilot flame that ignites the main burner on the appliance. It sits within the manufacturer's pilot burner spares range.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • The pilot flame fails to light, or will not stay lit once the gas control is released.
  • No spark at the pilot, or a weak and intermittent spark.
  • The pilot flame burns yellow or lifts away from the burner, with sooting around the pilot.
  • Repeated lockouts, or the appliance shutting down shortly after start-up.
  • Visible corrosion, debris or physical damage at the pilot burner.

Before you order

  • Confirm the appliance is LPG — this assembly is not intended for natural gas.
  • Check the 'F' designation against the pilot assembly currently fitted to the appliance.
  • Verify part number C443AWH against the manufacturer's parts list for your model.
  • Check the fitment listing above against your appliance model before ordering.
