What it is
The Cannon C00255842 is a thermostat for the main oven of a Cannon appliance. It controls the heat output of the main oven cavity by switching the burner or element in response to the temperature sensed inside the oven. The part is supplied under Cannon part number C00255842.
Before you order
- Confirm the appliance is a Cannon model and that the fault relates to the main oven rather than a secondary cavity.
- Check the existing thermostat's part number against C00255842 before ordering, as thermostats for different cavities are not interchangeable.
- Verify the fault with a temperature check and continuity test at the thermostat before condemning the part.
- Keep the model and serial plate details to hand in case a different thermostat variant is listed for the same model range.
