What it is
The Elco burner is a 44kW low NOx oil burner produced by Firebird for its oil-fired boiler range. It is the combustion unit that introduces the flame into the boiler and controls the oil and air mix during firing. This is the burner assembly listed under Firebird reference BRN044ELN.
Before you order
- Confirm the boiler is a Firebird oil-fired model within the Firebird Oil Firebirds range.
- Check that the existing burner's output matches 44kW so the replacement suits the boiler's heat input.
- This is a combustion and electrical component, so fitting and commissioning should be carried out by a competent heating engineer.
