What it is

The Biasi BI2035100 is the main electronic control and ignition printed circuit board used in a number of Biasi ActivA boilers. It manages the boiler's operating sequence, supervising ignition, flame monitoring and the safety interlocks that sit behind normal running. The board is supplied as a complete control unit, so it is replaced as a whole rather than repaired on site.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • The boiler fails to ignite, with no spark at the electrode despite a call for heat.
  • Repeated lockouts that clear on reset but return shortly afterwards.
  • No heating or hot water, with the boiler sitting idle and the pump running.
  • Fault codes or a blank display on the boiler control panel.
  • Visible damage on the board itself, such as scorching, a blown track or swollen capacitors.

Before you order

  • Check the boiler model and GC number against the compatibility list to confirm this board is the correct one for your appliance.
  • Compare the part number printed on the existing board with BI2035100 before ordering, as board revisions can look similar.
  • Isolate the electrical supply and photograph the wiring loom and plug positions before removing the old board.
  • This part is fitted to a gas appliance; installation must be carried out by a Gas Safe registered engineer.
