What it is

The Biasi BI2185101 is a wiring cable that connects the pump and gas valve to the boiler's control circuit. It is used on Biasi RIVA Compact HE and RIVA PLUS HE condensing appliances. The cable carries the control signals and supply to both components, so a fault here can affect pump operation and gas valve sequencing together.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • The pump fails to run when the boiler is calling for heat
  • The gas valve does not open, so the burner fails to light
  • Intermittent pump or ignition faults that change when the cable is moved
  • Visible damage to the cable, such as scorching, chafing or exposed conductors
  • Loose, corroded or heat-damaged terminals at either end of the cable

Before you order

  • Confirm the boiler serial number is N000550710 or later, as this cable applies from that serial number
  • Check the appliance model against the fit list above
  • Inspect the existing cable and its connectors for damage before ordering
  • Verify the fault is in the wiring rather than the pump or gas valve itself
