Biasi Condensing Heat Exchanger BI2112118

The Biasi BI2112118 is a condensing heat exchanger intended for use in Biasi Basica COND appliances. It transfers heat from the flue gases into the heating and hot water circuit, and in a condensing boiler it also recovers latent heat as the flue gases cool. It is a sealed, wet-side component, so any failure affects both combustion performance and the water circuit.

• Water or condensate weeping from the exchanger body, seals or connections
• Repeated pressure loss on the heating circuit with no visible external leak elsewhere
• Reduced heating or hot water output, or the appliance struggling to reach temperature
• Overheat faults, lockouts or ignition problems linked to restricted flow through the exchanger
• Visible corrosion, scale build-up or kettling noise from the exchanger

• Check the appliance data badge and confirm the model matches one of the fitments listed above
• Confirm the existing exchanger is the source of the fault and not an adjacent seal, gasket or pipe connection
• Note the GC number on the badge and compare it with the appliance documentation before ordering
• Check that the boiler is a Basica COND variant, as the same model name may be used across different ranges
