What it is
The Biasi BI1765102 is an ignition electrode cable used on Biasi gas boilers. It carries the high-voltage ignition supply from the control board to the ignition electrode, allowing the spark to jump at the burner. This version applies to appliances from serial number N121710705 onwards.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Boiler fails to light, with no spark at the ignition electrode
- Intermittent ignition or lockout on start-up
- Visible cracking, brittleness or heat damage to the cable insulation
- Loose, corroded or broken terminal at the electrode or board end
- Arcing or tracking along the cable instead of at the electrode tip
