What it is
The Biasi BI1485108 is an earth wiring harness used across a number of Biasi gas boiler ranges. It provides the earthing path between internal components and the appliance chassis, maintaining protective earth continuity. This version is specified for appliances up to serial number N121700705.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Visible corrosion, discolouration or heat damage on the earth lead or its terminals
- Frayed or broken conductor strands at the ring terminal or connector
- Continuity test between the component and chassis earth fails or reads high resistance
- Earth lead damaged or pulled loose during servicing or component removal
- Boiler fails protective earth continuity checks during a safety inspection
Before you order
- Confirm the appliance serial number is at or below N121700705
- Check the boiler model against the fit list above
- Inspect the existing lead's connector type, routing and length before ordering
- Verify the fault lies with the lead itself rather than the earthing point or fixing
