What it is

The Biasi BI1342100 is a flue temperature probe combining an NTC thermistor with a safety thermal fuse. It monitors flue gas temperature on Biasi condensing gas boilers and provides a safety cut-out if the flue overheats. It is a flue-mounted component used across the Garda HE, Parva HE and RIVA Compact HE ranges.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • Boiler locks out or shuts down with a flue or overheat related fault code
  • Repeated lockouts that clear on reset but return once the boiler runs
  • Flue gas temperature readings that are erratic or clearly out of range
  • Open circuit or out-of-tolerance resistance reading when the probe is tested
