What it is
The Biasi BI1336116 is a fan assembly (M90.28) used on Biasi M90 series gas boilers. It draws combustion air through the appliance and pushes flue products out of the heat exchanger and flue system. The assembly is specified for appliances built up to serial number N223580203.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Grinding, rumbling or whining noise from the fan area during or after ignition
- Fan fails to spin up at the start of a demand, so the boiler will not fire
- Repeated lockouts or ignition faults traced to the fan or air pressure circuit
- Boiler overheating or cutting out because flue products are not being cleared
- Visible damage, play in the impeller, or burning smells around the fan housing
Before you order
- Check the appliance serial number on the data plate against the serial limit for this fan
- Confirm the boiler model matches one of the appliances listed above
- Compare the part number and model marking on the existing fan with BI1336116 / M90.28
- Confirm the fault is with the fan itself and not the air pressure switch, wiring or flue
